Privacy policy

Effective October 14, 2026. StrengthKeep uses your information to provide training, account access, gym matching, and support.

What we collect

We store your account email, display name, password hash, login and verification records, training profile, workouts, readiness answers, saved locations and equipment, exercise substitutions, and feedback. Your profile may include age, sex, injuries, or pain that you choose to enter. Apple subscription records contain product and transaction identifiers, expiry dates, and an identifier linking the purchase to your account. Apple handles your payment details.

Optional AI features

AI features require your explicit permission. Relevant profile, workout, readiness, preferences, and equipment information is sent to OpenAI to generate guidance or substitutions. Scan My Gym sends the photos you select to OpenAI for equipment recognition. The scan endpoint does not save your photos in the app database. OpenAI processes requests under its API data policies; this does not mean photos or requests are never retained by the provider. You can turn AI off in Account settings to stop future requests and continue training.

Service providers

Cloudflare hosts the app and database. Resend processes account emails. OpenAI processes optional AI requests. Apple processes in-app purchases. Each provider may maintain security or operational records under its own policies. StrengthKeep does not sell your training profile or use it for advertising.

Your choices and deletion

Your device keeps workout data locally so temporary connection failures do not discard your work. You can export your training data and delete an email account from Account settings. Deletion removes the account and its associated active app records and clears that account’s workout copies on the device where you delete it. Other devices may retain local copies until their site data is cleared. Provider operational records and backups are governed by their separate policies. Deleting an account does not cancel an Apple subscription; manage it through Apple.
